”We were lucky to find this gem when the Mount Pleasant area was sold out for CMU friends and family weekend. The cozy, quaint cabin met all our needs for the long weekend. Settled in a peaceful and quiet setting, the cottage was tastefully updated and clean. Definitely recommend this place!”

”We loved the quiet secluded log cabin. We were up visiting family over the 4th of July weekend. This clean, quiet, comfortable cabin had everything we needed to get a way and recharge our social batteries. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to rent a secluded get a way.”

”Excellent property nestled in the Michigan woods. Easy access and well maintained. Host had us totally prepared and ready to enter and use the cabin before we arrived. Better than expected and will use the property again.”

”The property was beautiful and the hot tub was great. On top of that, the beach is a private little thing, only for certain residents in that area. There's a Putt putt place about half an hour out that's also really cool and fun. I will say, it's a little bit smaller than I expected (fully a me thing) and, if you wanted to sleep all 8 people, you would probably have to bring your own air mattress or two. It really depends on people's willingness to share beds. All in all, it's a great place to...

”Everything was great. It was quiet and had a beautiful view of the lake. We were in the area for a wedding, and the ability to have a place for my fur babies was the deciding factor for the cabin. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet getaway.”

”This was a perfect little cottage!! We had very comfortable beds, perfect little living area, games to play and then we went outside! The view was just beyond words and you could sit outside on the deck or sit on the couch in the house and admire this beautiful smooth lake! Kayaks and the swimming area is just awesome my grandkids and I played for hours. We were here to see many areas around this part of Michigan and the cottage was super comfortable to come home to. Great centralized...

”The cabin was so clean and cozy. The short was responsive and we had zero problems. We went to unplug from the works for a bit and be in the dark of winter closer to nature and this space was perfect. Not to mention the amazing little hikes available on property. Would definitely recommend! ”

”Wonderful stay in a rustic setting. Great opportunity to just disconnect and enjoy nature. BONUS: We saw a black bear the first day day!”

”The only problems were the mouse who lives behind the refrigerator. The lighting for the bedrooms kind of worked, the bedside table lamps look nice just no power, they have wireless chargers on them yet no power to use it. The shower is a little odd as well. As it is so high that a shorter person can even reach it to adjust it. Everything else seemed fine.”

”Very nicely furnished cozy cabin on the river with a great view in a quiet area. It is a bit of a walk down stairs to the river, but it's not too bad if you don't have mobility issues. Wood and a fire ring were provided. The main bedroom had a very comfy bed, and the 2nd bedroom had bunk beds. I would 100% recommend.”

”We had such a great time here for our anniversary! We took the kayaks out on the river, we floated in the tubes, we had brought our fishing poles and did some fishing and had a fire. It was so quiet and peaceful. Honestly I would’ve loved to stay longer there was no shortage of things to do. They had everything we needed there. Robert the property manager was so responsive and was very helpful as well. I highly recommend coming to this cute cottage and experiencing it for yourself! We will...

”We enjoyed the stay. Loved that I could bring my puppy. Place was peaceful near the water. Host was quick to respond and checked in regularly. Had laundry available in the unit. ”

”This really is a hidden gem. I cannot wait to come back for another stay! I loved how private the area was (you could see one of the other VRBOs on the property, but would not be in each other's space). The tiny house was private and peaceful. I had good cell service (Verizon) and enjoyed exploring the small towns nearby. From deer to woodpeckers to rabbits and more, wildlife was abundant and beautiful. Most importantly, I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated from my stay. I truly hope to be...

”Cute property”

”We had four adults who stayed to bike on the trails that run right by the house. Renee did a great job making the house comfortable with lots of information on the local area. She had cold water in the refrigerator. Went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the deck right on the river. Plenty of space for the four of is to relax. Would definitely recommend!”

”House was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the extra paper products, garbage bags, and some kitchen items like sugar and vegetable oil. Very responsive to questions and concerns. We had fun fishing and appreciated the use of the boats. Only critique would be the pots and pans really need to be replaced and walk out basement could be a little cozier for guests to sleep. We planned on using the sleeper sofa as another bedroom but was quite cold with minimal rugs and furnishings. Overall we had a...
