”I cant fault this place. It was so relaxing and the owners were helpful and friendly. Excellent room and breakfast. The restaurant in the small town was closed. So the owner kindly warmed us up a ready meal we had bought. He served it to us in the breakfast room and suplied beer and wine at a very reasonable price. Parking was just a few steps away from the hotel. Ampudia itself, is a very interesting ,small town, which is well worth a visit. I highly recommend this place and i cant wait to...

”We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday). Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem. Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But...
