”Centrally located on Campobello, quiet but friendly, hosts were lovely. If your idea of glamping is a 5-star hotel just in a tent, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for somewhere a little more comfortable and convenient than camping, don’t want to worry about whether it will rain, know what you’re getting into with a composting toilet, and a rustic outdoor shower is your idea of luxury, you’ll have a wonderful stay.”

”We’ve stayed at this lovely property two years in a row and plan to visit again in the future. The host is so lovely and helpful, but is not at all intrusive. ”Wonderful three-night stay at this very nice property. Great location along Lubec’s Water Street, making everything in town within easy walking distance. The room was immaculately clean and had all the comforts I needed. Everything is self-serve, including a modest but adequate continental breakfast each morning, set up in the entrance foyer. Patrick is a terrific host who went out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for a stay in Lubec.”

”Beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. Very clean and only minutes from downtown. The only feedback I have is the use of the laundry detergent. Tide has a very strong scent that is not pleasing to many people. The use of a scent free detergent would create a neutral but clean appearance on the towels and bedding. ”

”The only issues I had Was when I got to my cabin the bed had not been made and the trash was not empty from the people before so we had to go to the red barn wash our bedding before we could sleep that night. Also the ad said 1 bedroom 1 bathroom there was no bathroom in the cabin it was in the red barn”

”We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed.
