”The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...

So very quiet up there, large porch, lots of rocking chairs & a swing.
They had a spacious interior(living room & separate dining room), library with puzzles & games.
Good Coffee & tea
Excellent food!
Staff was personable but were careful to give you space.
Can't wait to go back!”

The owner was kind enough to allow me keep my flowers outside on the sidewalk in front of my room. Nice and friendly old style motor lodge that were so prominent in my youth in the 60’s and 70’s. ”
