”Allthough the reception staff was friendly, this hotel is very outdated and deffinitely not worth the money they ask for. The room was really outdated and dampf, the bed was the smallest I´ve seen in a hotel. And I never got to know why the housekeeping knocked 3 times on our door between 10 and 10.45 a.m. and asked if we were leaving soon?? Who does that? And three different persons/3 separate times? It wasn´t even check out time yet.”

”Myself and two other friends had a wonderful stay here. The house is in perfect condition, everything worked and it’s very clean. It had everything we needed. The host was very responsive to my questions. Roxboro has an older, quaint downtown and the surrounding areas have the typical retail stores if you needed something.”

”My friends and I stayed for memorial day and it was a blast. Would definitely come back! There is sulphur water which isn't a big deal if you know about it beforehand. The view from the dock and upper deck is awesome.”

”Very nice home, clearly updated and super clean. All the amenities you could want (wifi, Keurig, Smart TV, updated baths, etc.) and just steps to the lake. Very secluded and quiet - we could see SO many stars each night. Lots to love about the place. Definitely recommend. ”

”We were working at V.I.R. Property is very close. First house on side street from small town area. A few restaurants and beer hall (live music) Has everything except spices. Keurig & coffees were very much appreciated! Has charcoal grill. Guess its a manufactured home. Super clean. New everything!! Don't hesitate to rent. There was plenty of room indoors for large groups, along with great outdoor space plus a large enough table for everyone to eat at the same time. The game closet, ping pong table, and swing were great additions. Perfect location to get away, while also being close enough to some great activities.
