”It's an older hotel, but very well kept and always affordable! The washer and dryer work great and only cost $2.00 per machine! Anywhere else you're paying almost $4, just to start one cycle. The staff is very friendly and always helpful.”

”The stay was fine. I did appreciate that the outdoor walkway/hall lights were left on at night. That felt safer, especially since allegedly someone called the office posing as my husband (I've been divorced for several years), and I had not gotten around to sharing my location with anyone, not even my family members. The owner/manager did call me before putting the call through, and the dispensed with it when I did not accept the call.”

”This cabin is charming and cozy. It’s nicely decorated and well-stocked. We appreciated the selection of coffee pods and the bottle of wine. The hosts also had other thoughtful touches like a walking stick for the trails, maps and other information about the area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck to look at the stars. The hosts were very responsive. We would stay again. ”

”The amenities for this property were great, and the grounds were beautiful, but the property itself wasn’t very clean. We found dirty dishes in the cabinets and there were bugs in the loft. Some of the lights didn’t work. There was no salt or pepper & we had to buy our own coffee and extra toilet paper etc. So if you’re going, bring everything you need. The phones were answered by an answering service who knew nothing about the property and could only page the management. We had fun but we were...

”It was just perfect for us up for a wedding at the Tate House. Not too far up in the Big Canoe winding mountain roads so an easy drive/ride but still a nice view of mountain ridges. Close to pool & beach, pickleball courts & clubhouse. The house very clean, nice size rooms, comfy beds, kitchen has all the things! We very much enjoyed our stay and if we go back to BC we’d love to stay again.”

”This adorable cabin was exactly what we needed. We travel all over the Appalachian states to watch our daughter's collegiate lacrosse games and dread the hotel stays. This was a solid 30 minutes from the field, but oh so worth it!It is very cozy and welcoming cabin in the most amazing setting. The walking trails are all over with ranging levels of difficulty.
