”Very clean quaint property. Our room was situated overlooking a busy 4-way stop which made it a bit loud for sleeping when the trucks with loud mufflers rolled through but rested well just the same. Recommend this property for those looking for a quaint historic stay within walking distance to the Mighty Mississippi! ”

”I'm trying to be fair. 3 stars because it is a beautiful location would be a 5 if we didn't experience issues.Upon arrival: Most of the dishes were unclean (we cleaned everything we wanted to use when we arrived). No dish clothes to wash the dishes so we had to use a towel. Dozens of flies (we killed several, others just joined us as un-invited guests). Water went out (after contacting owner we found out their system flushes every 3 days and water is out about an hour but should have...

”Overall we had a great visit. Just trying to be honest with the review. There are a ton of stains on the back stairway carpet that look like they could be mold. The bathrooms weren't particularly clean. Wallpaper was peeling in places. It could use a touch up for sure, but we did stay comfortably and enjoyed the town.”
