”Fine, basic hotel in the small town of Guernsey. Not quite as nice as a Hampton Inn but much nicer than a Motel 6. Fridge and microwave in room. Comfortable bed and clean. Only one chair (we had a room with two queen beds), so if two people, one sits on the bed. Not many restaurants around the small town, so we had a few snacks/ sandwiches in the room from the local grocery store. We had trouble with the TV but just used our iPads. ”The house and the host were both great! The host was quick to respond to my questions, very accommodating and friendly. We loved the history associated with the house and host family. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Close to the lake and town, (less than 10 minutes to both), yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet.
