”What an unexpected and remarkable hotel nestled in the middle of downtown Des Moines. The lobby is a little bit of European old world splendor with the amenities one expects from a top notch modern hotel. Front desk staff was efficient and polite. Restaurants in the area were pointed out along with parking instructions across the street. The room I was assigned had a fireplace, bar with sink, a full sized tufted leather couch a separate sitting area, and a large bathroom. A very comfortable bed...

The staff were incredibly friendly, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The pool was excellent, and we enjoyed it every single day.”

”The room was big, clean and comfortable. The lobby was clean and inviting. Breakfast was good with his options. I did not like that some customers brought their dogs into the dining area. I didn't care for the flying fur from the dogs landing on my food. Otherwise, we really enjoy Drury. We have stayed at several in the South. ”
