”I didn't expect much when I booked but it was better than expected. It's kind of an odd/old building but the place had a decent sized fitness center and the pool area was nice. There is an attached bar/restaurant/bowling alley which all had very reasonable prices and the food was good. The hotel staff had little to say but weren't rude either. The cleaning lady I saw in the hall the following am was very friendly.”

”My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Timber Inn! It is clear that the new owners are putting a lot of time and care into the space. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities were thoughtful, and the staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area!”

”Host was very easy to work with. Great communication. Had the place all warmed up when we got there. Place was very warm and comfy. Living room has a couch and 2 recliners, TV and WIFI. Host has gas onsite for purchase. Easy access to the snowmobile trail. ”

Early on before booking I had some questions as there was confusion about how many bedrooms and beds in the actual listing,but he clarified that and that was completely accurate. we were happy with the house, patio and pier with a great view of the lake which was on a peninsula, so there was very little boat traffic.
