”The place is nice, very basic, but nice. The room had a fridge and microwave, no coffee maker. It did have a nice coffee bar in the lobby. The breakfast was our only real disappointment. They had cereal, oatmeal, bagels and muffins with juice. We were looking forward to waffles, eggs, something a little more hearty. But it wasn't bad, just minimal. We would stay here again.”

”Comfortable enough for a work trip, I was pleased that room service came every day. Long term renters however take up all the parking near the room.”

”The staff was courteous and kind. The premises were aged and faded. (An elegant old refined citizen, in need of some deep, expert and loving attention). The carpet in the dining area was frankly disgusting. Finding a working electrical outlet - a real problem. Opening my door produced a banging sound in the bathroom. Upon investigation, I found a large gaping rectangular opening behind the art piece above the comode - a little creepy.”

”Best place to stay in Downtown Little Rock.”

”Great service”

”The Empress is a MUST for anyone with an affinity for historical places and/or an appreciation for truly amazing architecture. The suites are gorgeous and the main house will leave you speechless. This is the perfect blend of a piece of history being well steward AND shared for others to enjoy. Well done!!! Highly recommend.”

”1) Breakfast do not have much options. Its just bagel , boiled egg and cereal. Was expecting scrambled eggs, waffles and other such options like in case other hotels. 2) The foam plates are of very bad quality. When a toasted bagel is put in it, the foam on the plate is got melted and stuck to the food, which is a health hazard.”

”Solid 7/10 in terms of overall hotel cleanliness”
