”My room had holes and scrapes all over the wall. The molding in the bathroom was gone and the floors were sticky. The whole room and building looked sketchy. Staff was helpful.”

”I will say its not very clean and the downstairs bed is terrible. The bedding was awful. There are really big cockroaches. We didnt see a washer and dryer anywhere and there arent instructions. All that being said I am still giving 5 stars because it was exactly what I expected for Louisiana. It suited our needs perfectly and we had a great little stay. The price was what made it seem like it was worth it. Would stay again if we had to. ”

”Blythewood plantation is a wonderful historic mansion set in a small quaint excellent town. Lloyd met all of our needs, the room was clean, and all furnishings were correct for the time period that the home was built. The grounds were well maintained, we even got the pleasure of witnessing a gorgeous wedding during our stay!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern times and take a trip to a much simpler day and time!!!!”

”The room was nice and the entire property was well maintained. The add said free breakfast. Coffee, pre packaged muffins and a banana is not a breakfast in the south. My room had a kitchenette but I had to argue with the front desk to get enough plates and silverware for my wife and I to eat without having to share. All in all not a bad place ”
