”Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. ”Its a very nice compact cabin for upto 6 people. Nice private back and front proch, short walk to the local store. Good location short distance from the river. We liked to go to the small country road bridge 3 min drive or 15 min walk where access is free and less crowded. Only "better if" comment would be the internal soundproofing of the bedrooms... The door between living room and bedroom doesn't do much to soundproof from the TV if your teenagers decide to stay up unitl 2 am while you are...

”We enjoyed our stay at Whiskey Hill. The cabin provided a nice option to get away, instead of being stuck in a hotel. It is right off the highway, but has lots of trees around it, providing a country feel. We will definitely be coming back !”

”The property was exactly as described very romantic perfect for me and my wife. We loved the fire outside and the kids really enjoyed the the river within walking distance. ”

”We stayed with our family for a last minute get away before starting school again. The house was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Our only surprise was our scorpion friends inside the house the first night. After relocating them outside, we didn’t see them again. We loved seeing the stars at night and happened to be there for a meteor shower. The home is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed! ”
