”The unit itself was quite nice, clean and the view was excellent however the air conditioner is so noisy you could not run it at night. Also the hotel is right on the railways tracks and a train passed by every morning between 5:00am and 7:00am sounding its whistle.”

”I enjoyed staying in this tel as a solo guest. The room wasn't large but was big enough for one person. Lots of counter space in the main room as well as the bathroom. The fridge was larger than usual and had a separate freezing compartment. The TV was large, although I didn't use it. The shower was fine with good water pressure and took little time to get hot. There is no coffee maker in the room but the main floor has a central area with a pop machine, small ice making machine and a...

”Beds were great with clean, fresh linens and firm mattresses! Pillows were good too Negatives........our roomwas right above the bar and we were kept awake til 11:00 PM which was midnight Alberta time after a tiring 5 hour drive. I suspected trouble when i found complimentary ear plugs by the bed!!!! They were useless and did not block the pounding base from the bar music. NO SLEEP FOR ME!! VIEW was nice and the town of Creston was beauriful !!!”

”We were visiting relatives in Nelson. The rest of our party was at the camp ground, so the fact that the resort was close by was great as was the kitchen when it was our turn to cook. The staff my wife dealt with were super helpful and the cost was quite a bit less than other less convenient options in town.”

”I wasn’t informed it may be necessary to reserve car parking site costing $10 a night. All parking sites were reserved and not available. We had to pay for off hours of city meter parking for overnight parking. ”

”The most outstanding feature of this property is their staff. They were courteous and considerate and even changed our room after we checked in because we did not like the originally assigned room mainly because of where it was situated. I think this is one of the cleanest hotel in its class that i have stayed at. The rooms are spacious clean. If i am ever back in Castlegar, i am definitely staying again.”
