”I don’t have a problem staying in barebones motels/hotels and that’s what I needed for this trip. The room was clean but the hallway needed some work. The secondary latch was loose on the inside. My problem arose as we were trying to sleep. Someone was going in and out of a door near our room all night. I’m assuming it was outside. I barely slept because it made me very uneasy. I had my elderly mom with me so I wanted to keep her safe. It looked like they were attempting to update some things...

”Beautiful, clean cabin, close to the lake, great location. Highly recommend. Everything was Perfect, only thing, if I was the host, I would add a ramp, the 1st floor is perfect for someone handicapped, even the shower is Perfect, if there was a ramp. My sister & brother in law were interested in renting, but she can't do stairs. Would definitely rent again!”

”My son and I came up from AZ for the Morehead graduation. This place is a little slice of heavenly nature right on the creek. Not really possible to get down there to safely fish but absolutely gorgeous area.”

”Very clean cozy place, fit 2 adults and 2 kids perfectly. The kitchen was wel lsticked with cookware and dishes, really everything we needed. Very beautiful property and we were ecstatic to be able to use the fire pit for smores. My kids adored the playground. We will surely be returning.”

”Everything was nice except there was no hot water in the downstairs shower . Everyone used the upstairs shower . All in all everything was good . Plus there is no lake view . Well worth the price though .”
