”The home was very clean. The kitchen had all the cookware and extras that we could have needed. No limitation on cook tools, utensils, bedding. The bed was a nice firm bed. The back yard was very pretty, the Peonies were in bloom. Thanks to the fence it was a great place for our dogs to run around in. As in all lush environments around water, there were a few sprigs of poison ivy on the fence line and the wood pile, but they were easily covered with a piece of firewood.”

Vickie, the host, is a very accommodating and thoughtfully detailed person who thinks about all kinds of situations that a guest could want or need. The home is spacious and very clean. ”The cabin was cozy, peaceful, and a nice place to get away from the usual hustle and bustle. The surroundings were beautiful, and it was great to have a quiet space to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin itself was comfortable and had a charming atmosphere.One downside was that there was no TV, which may not matter to everyone, but it would have been nice to have an option for entertainment in the evenings.
