”A gentleman at the front desk when I checked in was very pleasant. He offered a recommendation for dinner. The room was generously sized. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. I would definitely stay there again.”

”We had a wonderful stay at Woodhaven. It was very welcoming and we loved the fact that it was very dog friendly. Beautiful location on Oak Bay. We especially enjoyed the hot tub on the deck overlooking the beautiful views of the bay.”

”The unit was not clean smelled of pet urine. The lights didn’t work in three of the rooms. Plywood stuck under matts where the floor was rotten. Bedroom door wouldn’t close. Photos used in vrbo booking do not show the ladder that you need to access top two bedrooms. Photos also don’t show the washed out driveway to get to unit and the log stairs used for access to the beautiful beach. Broken fluorescent tube from kitchen light beside fridge. Dishwasher doesn’t work and I don’t think it has...

”Our stay at Creekside Hideaway could not have been better. Wonderful communication with our host and the property was even better than described. The house was spotless with ample towels in the updated bathroom. The sheets on the beds were high quality cotton with a cozy duvet and 4 pillows. The kitchen was modern with great touches like bottles of water in the fridge and coffee for the coffee machine. We were also appreciated that Nora ( the dog) was welcome. I would HIGHLY recommend this...

”Staff at the desk and in the restaurant were lovely and upgraded our room even though we didn't ask. The hotel was originally built in the 1880s, so walls are very thin and we could hear people in the next room even though they were talking normally. The bed was very soft and I felt like I was rolling into the center. Otherwise it was a bit dated and creaky but certainly satisfactory. Right on Water Street where all the shops and restaurants are. The seafood chowder in the restaurant was...

”Really lovely helpful staff. The hotel is gradually being renovated, our room on the 2nd floor had comfy beds and bedding, a beautifully renovated bathroom. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker . The drawers were a little dated but serviceable . Fabulous views, great location. The pool was available but unheated, we gave it a try and it was fine . Coffee available all day and in the morning yogurts and doughnuts . Thanks to everyone there who were so friendly”

”Oh my goodness this was one of the most fun B&Bs I have ever stayed in. The decorations are unreal and such fun. The bathroom bathtub was divine. Breakfast the next morning could have fed an army. Highly recommend The Coach House as a fantastic stay.”
