”The Golden Rock is a one of a kind property and we cannot wait to go back. The cleanliness was a 10/10 and the landscaping was absolutely stunning. The restaurant was excellent for every meal we had. I highly recommend the conch chowder. Thank you Golden Rock! ”

”Owners communicate very well. Home was clean, child friendly, and easy to find. Will stay here again if home is available. ”

”Moon Hill is a unique and magical place. The house is clearly loved by Jonathan, the owner, and it is full of little touches that make it truly feel like home-from-home. Before we even left home Jonathan sent lots of useful information about the restaurants on Nevis, the beaches and even the best supermarkets. It was much appreciated and we felt very well prepared to enjoy our time on Nevis. After a long day travelling we were greeted by Tessie, the housekeeper and cook, who had prepared a...

”The house is in a beautiful spot, looking out over a verdant manicured lawn sloping down to the jungle and then ultimately out to the ocean far below. Monkeys visit the property daily. It is up a long single track road that climbs up the mountain above the Golden Rock hotel. The house itself has a big wide wrap-around porch, and open doors that let the breeze through. From the outside it is very handsome, and as you can see from the photo there is a (very) small pool. Inside it is tastefully...

”What a change of scenery this was compared to living in a city! Now that I'm back home, I miss the sounds of nature from this place. At first, the sounds of the insects, goats and chickens was kind of a shock to my system. I had a hard time sleeping for the first night or two. But I totally got used to it, and now I miss it. This place is walking distance to the best grocery store on the island. And it is an easy drive to plenty of beaches and restaurants. Karen has a wealth of information about...

”Great resort”

”We would happily give 5 stars to the staff, service, rooms, garden and pool - they are magnificent for a laid-back island holiday. What we drop the one star for is the somewhat incomplete communication. Fundamentally, this is an apartment in a 3-story building. No spa yet. On the night of arrival, the independent Yachtsman Grill closed at 6 pm without a warning. We found that out at 6.15 when we tried to go to dinner. Luckily, there is a nice Indian restaurant less than half a mile down...

”Hieman ränsistynyt hotelli hienolla paikalla. Huone oli kulunut mutta puhdas. Palvelu oli ok, varsinkin Tim ravintolassa oli ihana.”

”Loved the remoteness of the property. Quaint bungalows scattered about. The food was splendid and the service was warm and attentive. Monkeys and donkeys visit from time to time.”

”The hotel is isolated from the happenings on the island. I was told that the hotel was fully booked but there were no other cars onsite besides my rental. There was no one available for common questions and the gate was closed by 5pm. This was a manual gate which is fine but the lightening was bad on the exterior of the property making it difficult to see when returning after dark. When it was time to check out there was no one available and I had to shout for a while until a painter came down...

”Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants.”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay at House Rose. Jessica was a joy to communicate with before and during our time in Nevis with prompt replies to all of our questions and valuable suggestions for newcomers to the island. The house was perfect for our needs with the three roomy bedrooms and two full bathrooms. We loved that we could control the air conditioning units in each room. So pleasant after a hot afternoon at the beach! The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking many of...

”Very nice apartment and quiet area!!! I would definitely stay there again!”
