”The house is in a beautiful spot, looking out over a verdant manicured lawn sloping down to the jungle and then ultimately out to the ocean far below. Monkeys visit the property daily. It is up a long single track road that climbs up the mountain above the Golden Rock hotel. The house itself has a big wide wrap-around porch, and open doors that let the breeze through. ”We would happily give 5 stars to the staff, service, rooms, garden and pool - they are magnificent for a laid-back island holiday. What we drop the one star for is the somewhat incomplete communication. Fundamentally, this is an apartment in a 3-story building. No spa yet. On the night of arrival, the independent Yachtsman Grill closed at 6 pm without a warning. We found that out at 6.15 when we tried to go to dinner. Luckily, there is a nice Indian restaurant less than half a mile down...

”The owners and staff were awesome. They took time to get to know us and were so welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. They gave us info about how to get around and offered to organize things for us. The property was unique and the individual cottages were amazing. Be aware though, there’s no AC. It didn’t bother us but might be a deal breaker for some. We will absolutely be back! ”

”This my second time staying at this place and when I thought things would have been better after the first time, It became worst. When I arrived the reception was closed from after 4pm or 5pm. my flight landed 7:40pm. The entrance gate was closed I had to open it on my own. I had to call out for someone to come and attend to me and give me a key to which ever room I was assigned to.
