”Absolute stunning view and friendly staff. Rooms and property were clean and adequate - bonus having a fridge and water kettle in the room. So nice having the restaurant on site. Building certainly not high end and is old in need up updates - but it is clean and functional (as is the state of most properly on the island). Would go again :)”

”1. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere - no entertainment in or nearby - everyone sleeps early here, including the owners 2. ”The location of Elaine's is perfect for exploring Dominica. We had a fantastic 11 day stay and managed to catch the sunset from the deck at Elaine's almost every night. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped, the place was clean with plenty of spare towels and beach towels, the AC worked very well (and was quiet!). ”Couldn’t be closer to the beach. Massive porch and surprisingly spacious cottages with notably high ceilings. Separated a good distance from the main road with a feel that is entirely secluded, save for a wave to the neighbors. Quiet and peaceful as one can imagine, the only sounds are the ones you want on a tropical island - waves, birds, and the nightly chorus. The AC is more than one could ask for, very comfortable climate control. All of the appliances worked perfectly - my one and only...
