”Our family traveled to the area for a last minute swim meet. Having not made plans to be traveling, we were unsure of what options we'd have - but the cabin was perfect for a last minute overnight stay. We all slept well, and were able to enjoy the cabin for the brief time we were there. Significantly more space, and much more affordable, than hotel options in the area the same night. A great find and fit for us! ”

”Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. ”

”Great little place with a great view of Moosehead Lake and Mt Kineo! Super clean and just right for my husband and me for three nights. Good spot for going out and exploring (drove Golden Road and scenic byway near Mt Katahdin, hiked Mt Kineo, watched moose near Greenville). Ate dinner at nearby Rockwood Bar & Grill. Excellent!”

”Per the Expedia listing this lodge had a bathroom in the room, a kitchentte, microwave and fridge. In reality, it did not! We had to share a bathroom~~ I do NOT want to share a bathroom with strangers on a vacation. Not at $150 per night. Taking turns? No, not on my vacation. One bathroom for several guest rooms. NOT ok. Sharing a TV with strangers? No thank you! The host was nice, but this property is NOT as advertised. It smelled weird and had taxidermy FULL sized BEAR in the dining...

”What you see is what you get! Solar power, gravty fed water and a whole lot of quiet! Being right on atv access was a major plus as well! We definitely will be back!”
