”Excellent location. It's our camp without the maintenance!”

”Is perfect”

”Room was nice the shower had a hole in it from where a bar used to be but other than that it was good the room was big but the tv was in a bad spot to watch while in bed”

”Our stay was one over night. The pool was closed while we were there. Property is fine. Nice views”

”Compared to many other places we've stayed in Jackman, ME, this is one of our best stays! The cabin was spacious, clean, kept up and overall held up to its expectations. What they marketed was exactly what they offered. The check in process was uncertain as we were supposed to show up to an already open cabin without having to contact anyone prior. There is a check in process they want you to do online instead, once you arrive. When I tried doing this, I kept getting error messages saying my...

”We loved staying at this rustic cabin. Very clean and comfortable. Liked the outdoor screened building. Thanks Lois.”

”So nice with a delicious breakfast every morning.”

”I booked a unit which has a loft and they moved me to a smaller one without ever telling me. So, someone had to sleep on the futon which was disgusting and so uncomfortable it’s not suitable for sleeping (needs a new mattress). There were no sheets for it either. The place was relatively clean except for REALLY gross carpet and one thing that is inexcusable. There was rat poop in the silverware drawer and in the pots/pans. The back deck is fantastic but I would still never stay here again!”

”We made a last minute reservation and, since it was off season, we’re the only ones staying at the Inn. They were very friendly and did everything they could to make us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Inn by the River.”

”Very clean and super cute!”

”I when I arrived at the cabin was eaten by bugs. Then I saw that I had been cancelled. It was a long drive to find I had to go somewhere else.”

”Very large house in very quiet neighborhood. Beds were extremely comfortable, we slept like rocks! Important to know: there is only one bathroom/toilet, which is on the ground floor. The stairs up to the bedrooms are very steep and small as the house is old; that's the way they built them back then. There is a handrail and a motion-sensor light that help a lot late at night, but this might be a challenge for some people and for people with small children. There are a lot of great kids' books...

”The cabin was located on a lake, and as advertised a beautiful setting. Nice screened in front porch over looking the lake. The mattress was a disaster, lumpy and no support. The bed totally filled the bedroom with the bed pushed up against the doorway, and we literally had to crawl over eachother to exit. I tried sleeping on the fold out bed and it was even worse with springs sticking in my back. Also, the floor was rotting and beginning to cave in near the entryway. Needs repairs and NEW...

”A lovely spot. It is extremely clean. The hostess has thought of everything! There are plenty of nice towels and facecloths and bedding. The bed is very comfortable. We have enjoyed our stay”

”Clean.”
