”This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. ”

”Excellent stay: rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, shower was awesome and surrounding views are beautiful. Great restaurants in town as well as small grocery store and ATM. Property manager was polite, courteous and helpful (he met us at the property). He had the hottub waiting for us nice and hot!”

”The views were amazing and the breeze made it just fine without air conditioning. The villa was quiet and perfect and no one wanted to go home. Dominica is beautiful and the people are really kind and friendly. Next time we’ll hire a local driver because the roads are not for tourists.”

”Calibishie is about beaches so why not stay in a wonderful villa overlooking the beach? This villa is great and you should stay here if it is available. Glorious sunrise views over Hodge's beach from your bedrooms and the terraces - you can walk down the path to get this beach and you probably will be alone there as it is very quiet. The villa is clean and big and functional and well managed locally. Thanks Kelvin! No complaints at all and we will gladly stay here again. ”

Manager/owner Vaughn very helpful. Code opens electric/hydraulic gate at entrance to grounds. Convenient to Batibou Beach (approx 12min by car). Drive to Portsmouth for market days took 18-20min by car.”
