”Pleasantly surprised, from the outside you know it's an older building but my room appears to be recently renovated, look exactly like the photos online, spotless, even the bedding appears to be new. Bed extremely comfortable. The towels are adequate, not fluffy but certainly not thread bare. Frig was on and cold. My only suggestion is a small alarm clock so you know what time it is in the middle of the night. Sadly, the breakfast was disappointing, no fruit, no yogart, there was instant...

”Such a wonderful, relaxing, and beautiful location. We drove up from Florida for a wedding near Pilot Mountain, and we're so glad we chose "A Mighty Oak" for our stay. Todd kindly offered to take us for a mini tour of the farm to see the cows, chickens and pigs. Our daughter fell in love with "Heart" (the special cow with a unique marking on her face; you'll just have to visit them to see where her name comes from). Our morning walks were fun and refreshing, as we enjoyed the slightly cooler...

”The property is super cool and unique! Sitting out on the deck was amazing.....surrounded by nature....family of swans, blue heron, and even some deer across the stream.The inside couch is a worn and covered in blankets to hide the wear and tear.....other than that the place was clean.If you plan on using the hot tub, i would recommend bringing extra towels. There are 6 bath towels (small bath towels), but no extras for the hot tub if 6 guests are staying.All in All.....great place! Would...
