”First time staying here and hopefully wont be our last. Stayed here with my wife and daughter. What a gem. High quality establishment. The door area and pool is pure luxury. The breast fast was the best we have had in France and we have been coming to France for many years. Great choice of food. Excellent range of beverages available all day at the self service bar. The rooms are specious. The entire establishment is very clean. The owners take time to make you feel welcome on arrival. Lovely...

”The home is gorgeous and literally in the center of town. Easy to walk everywhere. Caroline arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train station and we were met by Lucy who was wonderful. She sat us down with a map of the town. She circled and labeled things she felt we shouldn’t miss as well as places I told her we had things booked for. Dinner reservations were made for us and the recriminations were great. We opted not to have a full breakfast each morning but did have croissants and coffee...

”Lovely countryside wineyard, very friendly owners, excellent breakfast. The building is very old, which makes a nice character, but the smell of the room was a bit unpleasant. Otherwise the room was really nice. ”

”I stayed here with my wife to do the Saint-Emilion (wine) experience for few days during our anniversary trip. We wanted something in a walking distance for food, drinks and stuff but not being in the Saint-Emilion village center. Also the place had to have the "feeling". Clos 1906 could not have been a better discovery. This small hotel is extremely nice and recently renovated with a very good taste. The backyard with a pool is a nice hideout to chill and watch over the hills for vineyards....

”My husband and I had an incredible stay at Chateau De Ferrand! We stayed for only one night and the room, food, wine, and hospitality were out of this world! We wish we could have stayed longer. Balthazar and Elliot were very attentive, kind, and even gave us recommendations for the next stop on our trip. The views of the vineyards were lovely and it was quiet and serene. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it!”

”The proprieter and his wife are very interested in pleasing their guests. The accommodation was quite lovely..........but up a steep flight of circular stairs. It lacked a seating area and a chest of drawers. The home-made jams ere wonderful when matched with the fresh croissants in the morning.”
