”Property was clean and room was comfortable.”

”Learning about the historic building of the Madison Historic Eagle Cotton Mill Marriott made our stay extra special, and the river view was a bonus! The breakfast choices were very good, and the quiche and omelets were delicious! Our room was spacious and clean, but unfortunately the walls were thin enough for us to hear our neighbors. I would stay there again!”

”Hillside Inn was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Balcony was very nice with a beautiful view of the city. All of the staff that I interacted with were lovely and very helpful. The overall building could use some maintenance. Would absolutely stay again.”

”Very clean, unique and beautiful building. Easy parking and right in the middle of downtown. This was our second time to stay here and will be back next year!”

”Perfect lotion”

”Staff was extremely helpful”

”Welcoming and friendly staff. Everything else for the price.. pretty much what we expected. Stained hallway carpet, stale smoky smell everywhere. The room was clean minus the nasty bedspread and blanket with cig burns and yellow stains. Could use new comforter and pillows. Should get rid of the nasty decorative pillows that never get washed. Overall, fine if a quick stay.”

”Service excellence, staff were all friendly and helpful, adequate stay for the price. Much older hotel, and low price so you get whatcha get along with that. But we were happy to save and make do.”

”The bed was very hard & very small. The room was also pretty small. The room was super cold & then in the middle of the night it got very hot. There was a bad odor coming from the bathroom, also. It didn’t have a fridge in it, but there was one in the hallway that ppl could share. It was quiet there & there was a nice view of the river across the street with places to sit.”

”Our stay was nothing to write home about. It was a place to sleep. Basic and average. Nothing more, nothing less.”

”Perfect place. Plenty of room and close to everything.golf cart rental right next door. Someone took the time to bring back a piece of history in the building and the rooms were beyond expectations . We will definitely stay there again..”

”The cabin was perfect: remote location, clean, warm and cozy. The trails in the woods were a great escape and quite extensive and a fantastic sniff haven for a dog to explore. ”

”Our room was so cute and perfect for a couple. We loved it! The location was perfect as well!”

”Very close to downtown restaurants and shopping. The trails out back were nice and relaxing to walk on. The property was quiet and relaxing. Perfect size for my wife and I and our 12 pound dog. The dog loved the trails and kept us busy on his walks.”

”After traveling eight hours, just moments before check-in, I was faced with an emergency situation back home. The host was very responsive and very kind. He allowed me to make changes to the reservation and the feedback that I received from those who were able to stay at the cabin was nothing but positive. Thank you for working with us and I hope to return in the future.”

”The place was beautiful and well kept. Reasonably remote, you'll hear some lawnmowers but you won't see a neighbor unless you're actively trying to. Saw a lot of wildlife, rabbits, deer, butterflies. Electric, AC and gas were reliable and worked great. Wood stove looked so cozy, almost wish we didn't come during a heat wave so we could have enjoyed it. Wifi is spotty, so don't forget your LotR box set like I did, but to me thats more of a bonus amenity then a requirement for a remote...

”The host was extremely nice and allowed us to get into the loft a little early. The loft was really nice and we enjoyed out stay. ”
