”I have stayed here several times. If you are looking for a cheap and clean room, this is a great fit. If you are looking for an upscale hotel, you would not like it. I look for somewhere I feel safe as a female traveler by myself. The property managers are both very polite individuals.”

”Cheerio was a nice throwback to the motels of my childhood when my family traveled from NJ to Florida in the winter months. The place was neat and clean, all that would want for the very reasonable price”

”I have to say I was genuinely surprised; it is a very beautiful, cozy cabin with a very peaceful atmosphere. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay there—we were able to truly relax. There is absolutely no noise, so at night you are surrounded by complete silence, total calm, and peace. I recommend it 100%.”

”Another great stay @ the Cottages!! This place is a must for a pre-surgery booking!!”

”The host was friendly and responsive throughout our stay. The cottage was well equipped for the 2 nights we stayed. However the property had some issues upon arrival. We found hair and a used bar of soap in the shower, which made it appear that the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned before check-in. There were also a couple of cockroaches in the unit and a strong sulfur/sewer odor from the drains and shower whenever water was used. While I appreciate the host’s responsiveness and...

”This is not a rent ready property. The 1.5 miles of dirt road was not accurately portrayed in the listing narrative. Owner advised her compact car could get to the cabin. We had to use our four wheeled drive truck to maneuver the numerous potholes some ranging 3-6’ across and 18-24” deep, filled with water. The cabin was in disrepair and flood debris was on the walk around porch blocking access or view from the windows. Some areas of the deck needed replacement boards and paint along the railings...

”Nice, matched description and host was helpful and friendly. ”

”Always a pleasure staying at the Cottages when I'm visiting the area. They're always clean and cozy.”

”Home was very clean and comfortable. A nice addition would be a smaller sofa and a recliner. Also more lighting. Very hard to find at night.”

”So I’ll start with I’m happy they had availability but I really wished I had checked the Cheerio Inn bc that’s where I normally stay. But aside from the availability, I was happy to be greeted by the owners and their dog who was sweet. Check in was seamless even though she wasn’t accustomed to the hotels.com booking and I was able to get to my room quickly. As empty as it was however I didn’t like when they put two men in a room right next to mine. I am a single female and definitely didn’t feel...

”Cute placeIts like a studio apartment All the convince of homeWill stay again”

”This cute cabin was such a relaxing getaway. Very clean & spacious inside feeling like a cabin in the mountains, but it was only a short trip from our home. Very peaceful only hearing nature and being in a very private setting. Will definitely rebook for future dates. Thanks Kim for everything!! ”
