”Another fabulous visit and wonderful stay. I would recommend a little light on the balcony table for late drinks. A few less spiders would have been better as well 😂. There was a table below very close to the balcony with people attending a wedding party including excited children. This did make the room less relaxing than hoped for. Apart from that the Abbey bells are lovely to wake up to, and the staff were very friendly as always.”

”Very welcoming hostess. Rang me to confirm arrival time and explained key safe details. Plenty of off road parking. Bright and airy room spotlessly clean, king size double bed a little hard for me but I slept like a log. Very quiet rural location. Breakfast was great tasting cooked breakfast with local ingredients. Full selection of cereals and yogurt etc. ”

"Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not exceptionel."
