”A Wonderful Family Getaway on a Peaceful PondWe stayed here with our whole family—10 of us spanning three generations—and it was a wonderful place for everyone to be together. The house was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. One thing we especially appreciated was having enough room for all 10 of us to sit together, both at the dining room table and at the large table on the deck. Some of our favorite times were simply having meals together,...

”Clean house kitchen so nice, everything perfect”

”We had a great stay and were so happy to see the property was pet friendly. It was very clean and super charming! There was some confusion around arrival/access to the property as info that was supposed to be available was not. Austin responded in a timely manner and all was good. All around perfect for what we wanted/needed!”

”We had such a great stay here. The place is super peaceful, and the lake views are honestly incredible. Sunrises looked like paintings every morning. We loved taking the canoe and kayak out on the water, especially at sunset. Since there are no motorboats, it’s just quiet and calm, which made it even better. Only noise was from ducks, geese and frogs. The resident bald eagle also gave us a daily challenge to find his fishing spot for the day. Taconic State Park is about 10 minutes away, which...

”Don’t let the 1980s decor fool you, the place is immaculate. We were a family of 8 and all the kids had their own rooms. The property is huge and very private. The owner took care of a minor issue via a very nice caretaker who arrived within 10 minutes and asked us what else we might need. Highly recommend!”

”Absolutely amazing stay. We played a lot of tennis... You'll find everything you could possibly wish for on such a trip.”

”Everything was as represented. My daughter and her husband and two young children stayed for a weekend. She says "I want to stay there again and again and again!"”

”My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the 1805 House B&B. The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. ”

”We had a wonderful time!”

”House and property was beautiful. I’d only recommend a tv in master bedroom. ”

”A great property a perfect balance of quiet and rural but only a 20-40 min drive from so many cute towns in the area!”

”The house was charming. Everything is clean and updated. Everything from the bedding, to the pots, pans, dishes, and towels were of very nice quality. As cold as it was, the walks by the lake were beautiful and peaceful and the firepit was a great way to end the cold winter days. Leticia was always helpful. She thought of everything, so we really didnt need much! ”
