”Cabin would have been cozy without the rodent problem. I understand country living, but when you lay in bed and listen to something in the wall chewing, that is not what i was expecting!Gary offered to have maintenance and cleaners stop by. I had already cleaned up the kitchen floor, and stuffed two Brillo pads in the hole at the back door.Cabin was ok. Location was nice and remote.Gary offered an extra night for compensation, but not with the critters!! Hope he can remedy the problem!”

”The description on the website was not correct as the number of beds was not accurate. The hosts brought in air mattresses. Other than that it was a very comfortable home, exceptionally clean!”

”Cabin was exactly as described. All the necessary amenities were there making it easy to settle in. Amazing view of the lake. The beds were comfy, the shower had great water pressure & we truly enjoyed our stay. ”

”We really wish we had known in advance that the living room fireplace wasn't working. This was the number one amenity we looked for and it was very disappointing. The hot tub was nice and with 2 bedrooms in the basement, we had space to spread out.”

”We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! The place was comfortable and clean. It’s very close to Keuka State Park, which was a great place for short hikes. We also visited a couple local wineries, but we visited in the off season so many were only open on the weekends. The only thing that wasn’t great was the sulfur taste and smell in the water. The brita pitcher provided helped a lot. We would definitely stay again. ”

”We love it here, and it was such a gorgeous long weekend! We always enjoy our stay here with our friends. It’s a wonderful, spacious, secluded, and generally peaceful get-a-way. We were excited to have beautiful weather this time around, so we were finally able to take advantage of the back yard with the deck, grill and fire-pit! And, of course, we got in a few tastings at Apple Barrel Orchards, Ravine Winery, and Keuka Spring Vineyards! ”

”Property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Stayed for six days. Home had well equipped kitchen which made making meals easy. Beautiful panoramic view of keuka lake from most rooms in house. Five stairs and an outside ramp leads you to front door and bedroom level of home. Making it easy to unpack with little effort. Downstairs of home has large living room and kitchen. Comfortable seating and great view of lake. Minor issue was rapidly responded to by owner and resolved. Looking forward...

”Great property, well maintained, and fully appointed. Easy access to/from local wineries and other amenities.”

”The place was clean. However, there was a note that said they can't guarantee the bedding was clean, and also to save sheets for the next guest? That was very off putting from the start. And the bed was covered in a plastic bag that was noisy whenever you moved. Although the place was somewhat secluded, there were no shades or curtains for privacy and to block the early morning sun. The water had a strong sulfur smell and not drinkable. Fortunately I had bottled water in the car.”

”Cozy, Charming Cabin in a Tranquil Setting My husband and I and our two pupsters enjoyed a wonderful three-day getaway here (only wish it were longer). The cozy, lovingly decorated cabin is located on a secluded, tranquil property with lots of land for long walks. Kathy and Ted Grey are wonderful hosts (this was our second stay at one of their cabins). The Greys are friendly and responsive with helpful suggestions for places to visit. ”Everything was Great. Had a nice Long Weekend, being right on the lake was Fantastic. The back porch was amazing too just relax and see and listen to the lake. The local area was great, the Blue Eagle Bar was Awesome as well as Y Knot, a small Pizza and market, the people were very nice and the food was Great, would definitely recommend the house and those places to dine. ”

”We would have loved a kettle and body wash and shampoo. Most the of the places we have stayed at always had toiletries provided so we were disappointed to see there wasn’t any. Apart from that we had a very comfortable stay.”
