Hae hotelleja – Town of Marlborough

”Honestly this was probably the first time when my husband and I didn’t stay the full length of our trip (2 days) and checked out after one night. It was very disappointing. Firstly, I believe we were the only ones at the hotel. We did not see any other people except some of the workers. There is no one at the front desk 85% of the time. There is a number to call if you need assistance but that’s about it. The breakfast and the lady serving breakfast was very sweet and breakfast was very good....

”Our stay was rather disappointing. The property seems neglected. Some lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working . The coffee maker was really filthy inside. Instead of breakfast we were offered some packaged pastry from a gas station. Plus, there were a bunch of insects in the room. There was no drinking water in the property we ended up driving to get water. I don’t understand they can charge so much money ”

”The hotel and check in staff were wonderful. My room was clean and included water and tea/coffee. Disappointing that we were not offered warm cookies at check in or check out and had to ask for them! Housekeeping was short staffed and our room wasn't cleaned until late in the day. This made it difficult to dress and prepare for appointments we needed to get to. Breakfast should be included with your stay. $19.95 was just too much for bacon, eggs and french toast!”

”Location was okay although shared parking lot with not so nice Red Roof. Room view was back parking lot with quite a bit of trash on ground. Only spoke with staff at check in, very nice and check in was easy. Bath ceiling had mildew and peeling paint. There are quite a few hotel’s in the area, will choose different hotel when in area again.”

”I’ll start this review by recalling the horrendous discomfort my nose experienced on the first night. Although the front desk staff was polite, friendly, and quickly switched our room, we went from a room that smelled strongly of mold to one with a musty odor. While it was an improvement, we still had to make a trip to Walmart to buy air fresheners (which we left behind) and deodorizers (which we took with us) just to make the room bearable.
