”This was the perfect size cottage for 5 of us, with two rooms with queen size beds and one small room with a twin. The setting was very pretty, and the salt water heated pool was a good size and my grandchildren enjoyed swimming in it. We were within walking distance of the small town, and I would recommend staying there.”

Loved the rails to trails path, which we walked 35 mins into adorable Millerton (great shops and restaurants) and would recommend bringing bikes to really get around! Loved Lakeville and the lake. restaurants - willa and the black rabbit - super yummy food, lots of veggie options too. Thank for for a lovely, lovely stay!”

”We had a lovely stay in Pine Plains. Everything with the unit was as described. The only thing I’ll mention is that if you’re traveling in the summer, the AC is only in the living room and is very loud. ”

”We stayed in this house last year and liked it so much we went back again. Three of us stayed very comfortably - two of us sharing a room with the twin beds, and the 3rd getting her own big bed. We spent time sitting around the kitchen table as well as hanging out in the living room. We had everything we needed, very easy and cozy. The countryside around is gorgeous, with the leaves changing colors. And the peacocks coming to visit is a bonus! Note that the house is a bit hard to find on the...

”This was a dream rental. The house was very cozy and perfectly sized for my group who visited town for Rhinebeck. I wish we had more time to explore the area immediately around the house, but we really enjoyed the view of the lake and the cozy interior.”
