”At the very first moment, the owner Al made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was cosy and comfortable with all the necessary thing one would need. Breakfast was ok. Since we had been on the road for almost two weeks prior to our arrival, Al insisted we use his washing machine to wash our clothes! Had a good time spending one evening at the pool and around the campfire getting to know people. Would recommend this place to anyone that's ever going that way! Good...

The modern upgrades provide a comfortable and cozy stay, while the kind, attentive, and accessible manager (Keith) who goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome (including upgrading our room, helping us make reservations for dinner and offering rides). A fantastic choice for convenience and excellent service!”

”This isn't a luxury room in the sense of being new/updated with a lot of space. The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything.”

”We originally booked for 3 nights, but loved it so much we extended our stay 2 extra nights. Host was flexible in working with us to negotiate pricing for the extra time. Very responsive, friendly and helpful! Perfect cozy cabin for our family of 5. Cleanliness could’ve been better but nothing major. Microwave handle was broken and legs on the couch were too, didn’t stop our family from having a great time though! Would 100% stay again! ”

”Very well maintained property that is nicely set up to accommodate 2-4 people. It has all the basics and the renovation presents a nice atmosphere that is enjoyable. Certainly a location many people come back to stay at and is conveniently located next to Whiteface and Lake Placid.”
