”We loved our stay!”

”Overpriced and under-whelming. The room was comfortable but very small given the nightly rate. Breakfast was only a selection of bagels with a choice of fillings (I had the salmon bagel which was good but, again, under-whelming given this is supposed to be a luxury hotel. We will not stay there again nor recommend it.”

”I did not like the fact that we were limited to 1/2 of glass inexpensive champagne when we arrived, considering the price of the room. Poor hospitality.”

”Upon approaching the lodge, we were appalled at the condition of the building. It was run down and the landscaping needed attention. We were also very surprised to read a note on the outside of room saying that all Finger Lakes Lodging guests must register at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa down the road. We did as the note requested and went down to the spa. I wasn't very far away. Upon approaching the front desk I was asked how I was today. I said very disappointed in the condition of the building...

”If I could give this property zero stars, I would. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, it was clear this hotel was not being maintained to an acceptable standard. There were multiple individuals loitering outside who appeared to be engaging in suspicious activity, making me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The unpleasant odor began in the lobby during check-in and became even worse throughout the property. The hallways smelled strongly of urine and feces, to the point that it burned...

”The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the room itself was very nice. Unfortunately, my experience at check-in wasn't the best. The front desk associate came across as dismissive, particularly when she realized our reservation had been booked through a third-party service. The way she requested an alternative form of payment felt rude and unwelcoming. Additionally, when we got to our room, there was no shower soap in the bathroom. We called the front desk to request some, but it took nearly two...

”The room smelled like smoke despite it being a non-smoking room. The steps up to the room were slanted and damaged. The breakfast was not impressive and very minimal options.”

”Room was not clean and there was someone else’s hair all over the bathroom door and shower. Could not walk barefoot as the floor made our feet dirty! ”

”So glad we found the Nightshade Inn and Gardens. We just needed a place to stay for one night. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the snacks in our room, fresh fruit, and pastries for breakfast. Morning coffee was very good.”

”This was our first bed and breakfast experience. It was awesome! The facilities were beautiful and the owners were so hospitable and accommodating. We loved the grounds and the view as well! Breakfast was delicious. Overall-an awesome experience!”
