”We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay here. The house has lots of comfy space for hanging out both indoors and outside and a well-equipped kitchen. We particularly liked the long table where we worked several jigsaw puzzles. The host provided several suggestions for local dining and entertainment that were good.”

”Very clean and recently remodeled. It had a modern and hip feel to it. The location set high on a hill with a nice view. Conveniently located to town.”

The amenities really weren’t worth it.”

”Upon arrival we were given a room key to the wrong room. Despite our reservation being booked over one month in advance we were given a room in the basement. The front desk staff seemed bored with the confusion over our room key. Booked was a room with two Q beds, we were given a room with one bed. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and have never encountered such unfriendly hotel staff. Making up for this was the serving staff and bar staff. They were exceptional! ”I would avoid this hotel, unless you absolutely have to stay there. It is off the exit, and then a convoluted, series of turns where it sits alone on a hill. Right away one can see it hasn't been maintained well, and the smell of air fresheners are quite strong. Everything in the room seemed worn down, misaligned, unmaintained. The walls and floors are thin, very cheap build. Bathroom amenities were two small bars of soap, the cheap kind. Breakfast was included, but terrible. One waffle...

”Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.”

”What an amazing overnight in this 5 star 5th wheel! Hosts greeted us with a friendly wave as we passed their home to the 5th wheel hill top. Clean as can be and VERY comfortable. Host has added all the creature comforts. There’s a picnic table outdoors with incredible views. QUIET AND SERENE SURROUNDINGS…simply beautiful! Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!”

Were charged the whole price since their policy is 24 hr advance notice. Photo online is NOT what we observed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. EXTREMELY disappointed. We were on our bikes and had to ride another 10 miles before we found another place to stay.”
