”This cabin with its amazing view was a wonderful place to relax after days of hiking and kayaking. We spent our morning sipping coffee on the front porch and also had our dinners at the little table there as well. The fire pit was a nice place to sit and look up at the stars- so many! It was so quiet. The cabin is super clean, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, very well taken care of and a close location to Alleghany State Park. Highly recommend staying here!”

”The hotel is undergoing a refrub project so the pool and breakfast were not available. The elevators need an update. The room was nothing fancy but was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The worker at the front desk was personable and nice. ”

”One of the best motels I have ever stayed in, the host JR was amazing. He was so nice and helpful, greeted us as soon as we got there, gave us a tour, and told us where all the good restaurants and stores were located. It was a very safe and comfortable place to stay!”

”This quaint little house has been decorated to reflect its time frame…so for history buffs it was fun to look around at everything. It still had the modern touches to make our stay very comfortable. Our hosts were great and very helpful when needed.”

”We were in the area from NC for a family reunion at Allegheny State Park. Perfect location for us to see other friends from the area and go to the reunion and also bring our pup along with us. Had an amazing time and we will definitely be back:)”

”Our stay at this property was wonderful! The house is recently updated and completely spotless!! It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was really nice having some extra touches like a grill, toys for the kids to play with outside, a jug of water and a dozen fresh eggs left for us. We enjoyed the view of the countryside and seeing the horses next door. This is a hidden gem that we will definitely be returning to. ”
