”Loved the pool. Especially the lap section. It had a great hip vibe, with soft jazz already playing on the tv. Very eclectic room, nicely appointed. Cozy bed. ”

”Had a wonderful time at Harbor Front Inn. Two small suggestions would make my retutn stay even more wonderful. Decafe needs to be hot. It was lukewarm every morning. Two more umbrellas around the pooL would be very welcome. These things are not enough to discourage us from returning.”

”Stay was great, room very clean. Only thing I would change is add an extra summer quilt/ blanket and lower room divider or move TV. For those who like to watch TV in bed late at night, difficult to view TV with room divider in Queen rooms. ”

”Beautiful property! View was awesome, nice beach with chairs. The room could use some updating, stove top was broken so our morning coffee was delayed as the burner was very slow to heat the water for our French press we travel with. The view from our room was peaceful however the barbecue area was in direct view and there was always garbage piled up and was not pleasant to see. Overall great stay! ”

”My boyfriend and I stayed at The Menhaden for my birthday, and it was truly an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff incredible. The entire property was spotless — especially our room, which was beautifully maintained and so comfortable. I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The location is perfect too, just a short walk to everything in town. I couldn’t recommend The Menhaden more. 10/10 experience. Thank you...

”We enjoyed an amazing wine weekend at Vine and Sand. Beautiful home and relaxing, enjoyable stay. Great location for visiting vineyards as well as the villages of Southold and Greenport. ”

When we arrived they sat with us and had a lovely chat about the house and the area, recommended places to eat and provided lots of local intelligence. Tea and coffee is served in the room at 8am followed by a very generous and delicious breakfast. The two of them are a totally charming couple with their great sense of humour, stories and kindness They could give lessons on what true hospitality should be. ”
