”Nothing like what was advertised.”

”Although only for one night, we had a lovely and comfortable stay. Pat, the owner, checked in with us before we arrived…, to be sure we were set. Complimentary beverages and snacks were so welcome after a long day on the road. We crashed on the couch and nibbled before we called it a nite.(just right mattress and pillows). They were cooking in kitchen @9:30 in the evening making diner with lots of noise.. My room was up 5 steps n the room next door thin walls . The place was not clean. You did not have use of any of the house like the ad says.I was not even allowed to make a cup of hot water on the stove.Bed was...

”Awesome property! If you want a quiet, relaxing experience, this is the place for you! Hiking trails galore. Our host was VERY responsive to any of our questions. Cottage was charming and roomy for 4 adults. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool but it looked refreshing!! Looking forward to another stay here.”

”Lovely home. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. Very homey. Comforable.. Very convenient to the wedding venue (Stissing Restaurant). I confess that the extensive taxidermy collection was a bit more pronounced than shown in the pictures, but we got used to it and then it was part of the charm. ”

”Pillows were terrible, resulting in stiff necks and poor sleep. Bath towels had holes in them and need to be replaced. The bed was not level it slanted towards the sinking corner of the room and was propped up with boards - We had to reverse the sleeping position so we weren’t downhill) The floor was sinking very noticeably in the area by the bed. The heater (industrial tubing) was warm but very loud also kept us up at night. Shower and bath were ok with hot water and good pressure. Parking...

”Stayed at this property for a week. Home was clean, beautifully decorated and well equiped. Owner was attentive but not intrusive. Enjoyed watching the free range chickens and walking the maintained paths on the property. Great location, close to village center with shops, restaurants, a great market and a great bookstore. ”
