”The owner is very very nice. We biked from nyc, and heading to upstate NY. We booked this hotel at the last minute because it's close to empire State trail. The room is quiet and clean. The owner allowed my kids to pick the strawberry, raspberries and tomatoes. Everything tasted so sweet right off the vine. This literally made their day. The hot tub was so nice after whole day of biking. The ice cream that the owner made was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel if you stay in this...

”Very nice, small apartment. Very clean and comfortable. There was no cross ventilation, but the AC worked fine. Great place for a night or two and conveniently located near wedding venues. I would have liked to know in advance that the street number was not on the mailbox on the road, but figured it out. Probably best to ask for a landmark. We would definitely stay again if in the area.”

”As soon as we pulled into the drive way my truck blew its water pump. Steven the owner of the property was amazing took my husband 3 times to town to get what he need to fix my truck. Room was very clean, quiet, we had a wonderful vacation inspite of my truck, because the owners were so kind, generous people.”

”Everything was clean and welcoming for our arrival. Our host was friendly and helpful. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable and the grounds are beautiful.We appreciated the chocolate and granola bars after a long day of travel. It was a very nice touch. This was our second time staying here.”

”An overall wonderful place to stay. Room was clean, beds were comfortable however there were old stains across the carpet but otherwise the room itself was clean and comfortable. The morning staff in the downstairs restaurant were very friendly and provided a wonderful service and delicious breakfast. Our only major complaint is the walls are thin. You can here next room conversations, babies crying, etc. The overall hotel and view of the river is fery nice as is the quaint town it rests in.”

”The Wick is conveniently located literally across the street from the Hudson NY Amtrak rail station. My room was very nice, spacious, with comfortable bedding and lighting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with my stuck entry door and it was immediately addressed. Bathroom was very spacious - good water pressure and quality amenities. I had a full American breakfast in the lobby area and it was tasty. I felt safe as a solo traveler - not that the property is at the end of...

”Beautiful property overseen by a lovely person, Wendy was hospitable in every sense of the word; would absolutely love to come back to this amazing retreat in the woods. Also worth mentioning is the amazing waterfall within walking distance of the property. ”

”The room I had must have been renovated recently, but none the less, very clean The bathroom nerd renovation but again, was clean. The front desk gentleman at check-in was awesome, very friendly and upbeat. This is your basic Roadside Motel, there are eateries and fuel literally right down the road, and very convenient to I-90, right off Route 22. I intend on using this Motel again when up there! ”

”An okay place to stay for a night. The room was comfortable but definitely looked like it had received minimal upkeep over the years. The shower water smelled a bit sulfuric and wouldn’t stay warm/hot. It was fine just for one night but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer since the amenities were a bit lacking, which is not too surprising given it is a small motel in the mountains. One plus is the property manager was very kind and welcoming. ”
