”This is an incredible rental! The owner David is so kind and accommodating, and the place itself is pristine--exactly as pictured. I loved the seclusion of the cabin (it's a 30-minute drive to get to the restaurants and grocery stores in/around Beacon), the hiking trails on the property, and the glorious lookout point. 10/10!!”

I will note, this is the second year coming and we always struggle with the coffee pot when trying to make a full 10 cup pot it tends to overflow and not drain correctly. ”Needed a place to stay for one night to attend a concert at Tanglewood (about 45 minutes away from The Alander by scenic back roads). The rooms are freshly renovated and vey clean and the setting is beautiful. Didn’t have a chance to try the attached restaurant. Will definitely stay there again.”

”I feel it was overpriced for what it was. We got the king room and the bathroom was so small they couldn't fit a sink in; the sink was in the closet, which was a two foot wide clothes rack. There was no dresser to put clothes in, only a desk. And although it seemed recently painted, there was still a general feeling of being unclean.
