”Remote check in by text worked, no issues. Ten feet from water edge- definitely water front as described. Great for families if warm outside. Small well equipped kitchenette with nice size fridge. Beds not bad, very quiet. Beautiful spot, but not my 70 year old kind of desired taste. Kids that like water will love the sandy shore and view.”

”The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The...

”I received a welcome email for the wrong weekend, followed up with an apology but nothing on our actually check in day. Never received the code for the front door, called both phone numbers listed, no one answered. Discovered a side door wide open. Finally was responded to in the app with multiple code options saying one of them should work. All outdoor lighting was shut off, no instructions on how to turn it on, my parents missed the house in the dark, then we had to unload their car in the...

”We were traveling with another family during our stay. All of our kiddos thought this place was way better than any other cottage we've rented. There was lots of space for the kids to explore! The proximity to town was something we had never experienced in Old Forge and we loved it!!! The river was fantastic! The host was very responsive to every message I sent and was a pleasure to talk to:) This is a great place to stay if you have pre-teens that like a little freedom to wonder.”
