”Shangri-La is not located in the center of Kota Kinabalu but it is surrounded in the beautiful nature and worth staying. We had booked a nice room in the Ocean view part of the hotel. Restaurant called Oceano, had really good food and service and we ended up eating breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Food and staff lead by Charlie took very good care of us and made us feel really welcome. ”The Shangti-La is just a step up from other hotels. Yes, it's big and busy but the staff go out of their way to really spoil you. I'm vegan and they bent over backwards to ensure I had a great breakfast, sent soy milk to my room tweaked dishes so I ate well. And the location - oh my. We stayed in a garden room and could walk straight out looking at the sea. Room had a shower and a bath, was well stocked. Water in the fridge every day. Their Spa was great too. I can't think of anything bad about...

”The Pasific Sutera Hotel was more than nice place. The pool area was great, big enough and also ocean view. Breakfast buffet was great, everything for everyone. ”Marriott has had its best days even the it is starred still as 5. Fortunately we had booked a room with executive lounge access and it was the highlight of the stay as Mr. Nigel Wong and Ms. Felicia took care of us during our 5 days of spending in the hotel. They made us felt more than welcome and shared some good tips what to do in Kota Kinabalu. Also, the exec.lounge had the best view to the sea and beautiful sunsets. ”

”There was a mistake with our communication between hotels.com and the hotel, which the hotel handled really well. The rooms with sea view offer a nice view of the sea as well as Jesselton point. Rooftop pool was really nice. The room itself has everything you'll need and although we had some issues (clogged drain in the shower), the staff took care of them instantly. We stayed at a couple of hotels in KK and would definitely recommend staying here. ”

”早く着いたら、早くチェックインさせてくれた。部屋はまぁまぁ。3つ星レベル。窓からの眺めは良い。ベッドは硬く、Wi-Fiは遅め。TVはスマートTVではない。プールがあり、そこからの眺めは良い。朝食ビュッフェはRM21.2。朝食は種類がとても少なく、味も美味しくない。サラダもないし、egg stationも無い。近くのibisの朝食ビュッフェは、３倍くらい種類が豊富で、RM20。朝食はibisの方が良い。”

”This is a modern city type hotel beautifully decorated, with easy access to nearby restaurants, ideal for a short stay visiting Kotakinabalu .Ms Linda, front desk manager and her team at the reception were outstanding. This greatly professional staff , made our stay a memorable one. Will be back”

"Shangri-La is not located in the center of Kota Kinabalu but it is surrounded in the beautiful nature and worth staying. We had booked a nice room in the Ocean view part of the hotel. Restaurant called Oceano, had really good food and service and we ended up eating breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Food and staff lead by Charlie took very good care of us and made us feel really welcome. We did daily trips to the wells and canopy walk and if you wanted to stay in the resort you could do horse riding, swimming, walking in the beach etc. We do not play golf but there was a very good spa located in the golf club so we went to have treatment there. We simply had a very good time. We can recommend the resort to anybody who loves nature and good service!"
