”just epic”

”The front desk staff is extremely unfriendly and are not interested in helping with anything at all. We had 2 separate reservations for 2 nights ( back to back) under the same name - had to check out and check back in as they said that they are fully booked and can not accommodate keeping the same room for 2 nights. It was extremely painful to take all the luggage to the front desk to keep it until we come back from Yosemite, but more surprisingly, when we checked back in - it was the same...

”The Ahwahnee hotel is conveniently located in Yosemite Valley and within walking distance to a couple of trails, as well as the Merced River. There is a bus stop at the hotel where you can catch a free shuttle to other areas of Yosemite Valley, which is perfect if you’re traveling during peak season and don’t want to deal with parking in other areas of the park. The common sitting areas are very comfortable with amble seating and huge fireplaces that you can sit in and warm up after a long day...

”The hotel was beautiful , the rooms were just as comfortable and nicely designed . We loved the large windows in the casino . ”

”Yes they welcome pets. I did have pet hair on my clothes from a previous person with a dog. We did not have a pet The bar was perfect,dinner delicious.”

”Parking lot was huge and no one was in it this time of year; there were NO staff present at all - our room keys were in an envelope taped to the wall when we walked in the front. Also the bed frames need to be replaced. You could not move at ALL on the bed without horrible scraping and squeaking noise - we are talking just to SIT on the bed... Rooms were pleasant and view of the river was nice... even the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday so.... we saw NO ONE.”

”Sandra and Tammy were great, I was greeted and welcomed. There was a set back but overall, my stay was well. Close to Chicken Ranch, fast food, local night life. Felt safe in the surroundings community. Thanks ”

”Asiallinen ja siisti hotellihuone jota oli selkeästi uudistettu. Huoneessa oli jääkaappi ja mikroaaltouuni. Huone oli rauhallinen ja aamiainen oli hyvä. Hotellin läheltä löytyi ainakin pikaruokapaikkoja sekä ruokakauppa. Alue oli rauhallinen. Suosittelen.”

”Terrible customer service. Check-in at the hotel is until 10 pm, but if you need to check in later, you need to call and let them know and pay about $28. The administrator called me at 9:30 pm, I couldn't answer right away, and they left a voicemail for me to call back. I called back at 9:35 (there is call confirmation). No one answered. I called many times. I also tried through customer service. I arrived at the hotel around 10:30 pm, but no one was there and no one answered. I do not recommend...

”Stay wasnt good. Wanted a get away with my girl and they stuck me in a crap room. Not the romantic getaway i thought. The shower i could barely turn around in. Taking a crap, my whole leg was forced to be against the tile wall. The door had so much space in the cracks that the hallway light shined like the sun into the room at night. Paid so much money for a room that wasnt even as good as a motel 6 room. It sucked. No place for dogs to go to crap either. Most people just let their dog...

”Was given a room towards the road - too noisy thru the day and in night the ac was noisy Requested for a room on other side but told none was available- which I don’t believe ”

”This is an Old Hotel. You can imagine after many, many guests and building age things are not going to be brand new. Things need repaired and repairs are many. With that said, we loved it!! The staff was very hard working and accommodating. The antiques in the room and on the property was like stepping back in time, with indoor plumbing and cable TV. The free breakfast was a treat. Thank you. A great adventure. ”
