”Had been several years from our last stay and being totally honest nothing had really changed. Rooms are spacious and comfortable but some of the hardware could do with some basic maintenance. It was good to have a hotel room that actually had 2 chairs in it although the room lacked any basic info of where we were or the surrounding area, you had to obtain info from the area beside reception. Breakfast was good and with plenty of selection, including fresh fruit. All in all a very good stay and...

”Host entered our locked room while we were gone to draw the shades and turn our tv off. Invasion of privacy. Also, beware if you come here in the winter, host is a penny pincher and won’t keep the heat on in the house past 10pm. We were absolutely freezing and had to leave the accommodation because it was far too cold for our children. He refused to turn it on. ”

”Absolutely everything during our stay at Ashbrook was perfect! From the warm welcome on arrival, to the spotless and beautiful huge room through to the freshly baked bread, pancakes and bacon for breakfast that had us full right through to our evening meal, I literally couldn't fault a thing. ”Stayed 2 nights, a lovely, gracious older home. Our room looked out on their beautiful, well kept grounds, with flowers and mature trees. Our room was spacious and comfortable, breakfasts were excellent. We enjoyed our conversations with the hosts and appreciated their help in providing information about the area and things to do. ”Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. ”Name has changed to Canavan’s, (an Ireland icon in soccer) Staff was extremely helpful with local information. Room was big, It is a small, very rural community, and they were very much a part of that community. The food in the restaurant was great, Room was nice. Housekeeping was very helpful.
