”This is a very cute modern tiny house near the lake. The amenities were very nice and the property is beautiful. It’s not the best view of the lake but you can see the water through the trees along the shore. My only issue is there is no access to the water from this property. You have to plan to drive to a public lake access elsewhere. Before booking I had been told by the property management company that we would have direct easy lake access we could get to by foot, so to find out that wasn’t...

”We really enjoyed our stay at House Mountain Retreat. Michelle had every convenience one could think of in the cute apartment. Since the weather was nice we enjoyed the screened in deck area with a beautiful view of the mountain, lots of places to walk and see the horses. It was a real retreat.”

”Beautiful up the mountain, off grid experience while still having having power and hot water, just amazing. Absolutely peaceful and relaxing. Wished we had more time to enjoy and explore! No issues with check in, kitchen well equipped, internet. Ricky responded quickly and very helpful. Great place for a quiet escape! Definitely recommend! 10/10!”

”This is the second time I've stayed here. I love it.Its a rustic type of cottage but it's great. We sat in the rocking chairs on the porch like old school locals. We brought our boat over from Powell Valley Marina and had great weather. Easy walk to the dock. ”

”The house is great. They have more stuff than you'd expect. It's a home away from home. It's close to great fishing and swimming. Highly recommend the property and Straight Creek Marina. You won't be disappointed.”

”This is a comfy, pet friendly home in a beautiful location. We sat on the screened in porch as several deer passed through the yard and enjoyed our kayaks from the small dock on the lake. We will definitely be back! ”

”Serene, beautiful location. The little house was so comfortable and had everything we needed. The AC worked great, ceiling fans in every room. We rented a boat from Sequoia Marina for a few days and kept it at the dock. It worked out perfectly.”
