”The towels smelled like they’d been washed with the contents of an ashtray. There was no toilet paper, it was listed as an amenity. The host didn’t provide check in instructions 3-days before as promised in the agreement. The host didn’t provide check out instructions at all. The trail to the pond described in the listing is still not there. The location is very convenient for exploring Hocking Hills and the place would be amazing with a little more attention to detail.”

”This is a wonderful place to stay! The hot tub and sauna were a great touch. The couch was very comfortable. Not the cleanest property we ever stayed at, but its an old farm house so that is to be expected. It made for a great trip.”

”Nice little cabin and we enjoyed our visit. Only suggestion we had is for dogs maybe a little gate on the porch to have them outside while enjoying hot tub but perfect otherwise.”

”We had a great stay at the Aspen Haus with book hocking. It was very cozy and clean with most everything you could think of! The decor was very well planned and designed, which we enjoyed. There were two AC units in our cabin which was helpful with one being in the bedroom and one in the main area, we could shut doors and sleep at different preferred temps. The stove/oven in our cabin was out of order but we arrived to a hot plate and toaster oven brand new so we were still able to cook and bake...

”The place was very comfortable, very stocked.Needed more bed pillows. The only bad thing was you had to park at the bottom of a big hill and walk up thank goodness they had wagons to load up with your stuff. Will return.”

”Cabin was clean. Kitchen had all necessary dishes and appliances needed. Loved the quiet atmosphere and the wooded area around us. Relaxing on the porch was a much needed break from everyday life.”
