”We drove the blue ridge parkway + skyline drive, so the hotel was conveniently located. Parking was easy and breakfast was good. Room smelled a bit weird and could use some renovation. Wifi worked fine. All in all suited well for one night quick stop.”

”This is not the best hotel I've stayed, but it IS the best in this price range. Super nice reception, and the room was spartan but very clean and correct. I stayed here as a pause in the middle of a long trip, and slept great. Also, there's a remarkable, higher-end restaurant nearby, Vault & Cellar, which was a welcome break from the drive. I'll stay here every time I make this trip. ”

”Bare bones, but perfectly adequate hotel if you just want a bed, a hot shower and a little TV (didn’t check the WIFI, but Verizon worked fine in the room anyway). Easy parking, friendly front desk person. I’d stay again. (Fridge and microwave were also handy). ”
