”This was the best stay I’ve ever had. The room was spacious with a sectional couch, we had a standard king room. The pool, hot tub and sauna were all wonderful. The property sits on a lake which was very nice. The next morning breakfast was a pleasant surprise with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and even a make your own pancake station. Check in was a breeze with the staff being very kind. I would go back to this hotel just for a relaxing night away from home.”

”The owners went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. The rooms were renovated and clean. Our lake view room was wonderful. The owners shared with us their favorite fishing spots. He even allowed our family to use some of their canoes and kayaks. This allowed us to have some amazing fishing catches. We will stay here again.”

”DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The pool was empty “for maintenance”. I was looking for ice and nobody was at the front desk so I had to find a cleaning lady and ask where the ice machine was. The reason I couldn’t find it is because there wasn’t one! It was “on order“. The remote control batteries were dead. While the room had been updated with plank flooring, the bathroom stunk. The bottom of the shower curtain was filthy. The windows were so fogged over you couldn’t see out. I tried to change my...

”The Best Western Spooner was a very nice place to stay. Noticed there were returning guests which is good to see. Staff was great and accommodating. Plus easy walk to what you need.”

”The house was very comfortable and Mike was super helpful. This was convenient to the Mt. Telemark trails. It isn't fancy, but beds were comfy and the kitchen was well appointed.”

”Cabin is exactly as described. Host sent several messages to insure everything was fine. Just a couple of minutes from downtown Hayward. Comfortable bed along with two bunk beds, perfect for a family with two kids. No stove, but apartment size fridge, coffee maker etc.”

”The little kitchenette was handy to have. Nice location with a great view of Nelson Lake. Room was spacious enough for my mom and I … any more adults and it would have been crowded. Could have been cleaner. The bathroom rug looked like it hadn’t been washed recently, there were dust bunnies under the beds, dead bugs and spiderwebs. The smoke detector kept beeping so I ran to Walmart to get a new battery for it. Overall, a super cute little place. I would stay here again.”

”It was a beautiful location with a peaceful lake. It is advertised to sleep 5 people, which it could, but for a long weekend, i think it would be most comfortable with about 3 people. It is conveniently located to many towns and attractions. We really appreciated the extra room for bikes and sporting gear since we were up for a mountain bike race. We are looking forward to staying there again!!”
