”The staff and room were nice and clean. The only issue I had was with the pool and hot tub. The pool had a light that was floating in the water and when brought up to staff they commented that it has been an issue and asked me to set on side of pool. The hot tub jets were not working. Other than these small things the property itself was nice. Centrally located not far from stores or food options. Would definitely use again if in the area.”

”Just by walking the place and look at it I refuse to stay in there. I walk away and I went to get a different place.”

”The breakfast was pretty good with a fair amount of diverse and various options. The room was clean, but needs some TLC. The light by the bed has no switch: it is just ON. To turn it off I had to unscrew the bulb.”

”The property is rundown. Need to update rooms and do lots of cleaning/maintenance outside. But hey - it's an authentic Rt. 66 motel!”

”Tucked away between the woods and the river, Jack's Cabin is the perfect getaway spot. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The river and Fagen's Outdoor Adventure is only a mile down the road. Being able to have our dog with us was a huge plus for us. We will definitely book here again. Thank you for this amazing opportunity!!!”

”Workers are very friendly. Unfortunately the room itself was disappointing.Beds came unmade, not an issue. However, the sheets provided do not fit the bed.Photo of the bathroom in the listing is not the actual bathroom of the cabin. Shower was small and stained. Bathroom fan did not work. Drop ceiling in the bathroom was warped and falling.Room had significant staining on the ceiling. No deadbolt on the main door, only relying on the hotel style keycard lock. Overall. It was a place to stay....

”Cute cozy cottage”

”I loved everything about the lake, activities, and the cabin I stayed at. My only suggestions would be to have curtains in the big windows in the front. The super bright lights from the other cabins shine right through the entire cabin. No way to hang a blanket to cover the front windows. Also, I had to use blankets to cover up the 2 exit signs above both doors that lit up the inside. It's a super small area inside and felt the light up exits only a few feet across from each other was too much,...

”This place is a gem! Country setting, but only a few minutes from shops and restaurants. New and extremely well stocked. Perfect for a couple looking to get away. Host is super responsive and accommodating! Will definitely be back.”

”We had such a wonderful four days at the cabin. Our neighborhood goes crazy on the Fourth of July. This was a great escape for us - some fireworks nearby but much more manageable for us. It’s off a gravel drive with very friendly neighbors. Our pups all loved to run the land and hang out on the wraparound porch. The property is as described and was perfect for our small group. My husband and I took our dogs on a great hike to Hughes Mountain in nearby Leadville. We would stay here again. ”
