”The property itself is gorgeous and a great place to spend the day with family. To stay overnight, I wouldn’t say it’s the most family friendly. We were in a 2 room suite with a steep staircase in the middle of the room. The One room with a twin bed didn’t have a door, so we ended up having to have all of us in one room to ensure our toddler didn’t run out and down the steep staircase at night. The homes are older and don’t do much to help with noise, sorry to guests below. Surprised how well...

”The property was perfect! It is such a cozy place for a weekend getaway. The host was amazing and communication was great. My husband’s band Watered Down Whiskey was in town for the weekend to play at a couple local bars. It was the perfect space to recharge and relax after the gigs. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay and enjoy the space longer. We will definitely stay there again when we are back in town.”

”Nice property. Beautiful view! Porches are great. Being a basement apartment made it difficult to rest due to host up doing construction or something quite early ior late 4 a.m. however you look at the situation. Hot tub was on the upstairs deck which wasn’t very private even though there were curtains on either end. The house windows were still available to be seen by anyone who chanced to look. There were many nice conveniences such as bath robes, candles, toiletries , coffee, frozen food...

”Bourbon Trail Oasis at Boone Farm was a great spot for our family’s getaway. We enjoyed the peaceful quiet located a short drive from area attractions. We visited distilleries, hiked around Mammoth Cave, and had a day trip into Louisville, but were able to come back to the VRBO and simply relax.”

”A more unique retreat in KY situated in the middle of nowhere along/near The Bourbon Trail will not be found. This hobbit/gnome themed outdoor resort is at first stunning and then you begin to realize all the work that must have gone into it and all the thought that went into the details/design. From the rock fountain, the hillside rooms, gazebo with swings and fire pit, hot tub room, and the extra large reception/game/common area, etc... it is all there, it works, it is comfortable, it is...
