”The house is wonderful, well equipped and suitable for a larger group. The distance to Amsterdam is perfect and the bus runs all day and night. Great running routs in the area also. There is just a really small grocery shop in the village though. We had great help from the host who answered right away when asked, gave us useful information and made us feel really welcomed.”

”We really enjoyed our stay just 20 mins from Amsterdan. Reception was great in working with our unique needs. The home and setting are very nice. A deeper cleaning was needed to make it better; pet fur on some of the mattresses, and more attention to detail in cleaning around the edges in the bathroom and kitchen. ”This was an incredible end to our trip. The town is so quaint and adorable with so many friendly people. The houseboat was gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated. The sauna was perfect since the weather was a little chill but exactly what you’d expect for the end of December. The host was very friendly and helpful. It was an amazing experience!”

”We loved our stay in the quaint village of Ilpendum. Brenda and Michael were kind and gracious hosts, who gave us great tips on sightseeing, and even brought us fresh fruit as a gift one day. The town has easy access to Amsterdam and there are lovely places to walk and bike in around the village.”
