”Overall, I had a good stay. The room itself was great, and the AC had no problem keeping me comfortable during those hot Mississippi days. The staff was excellent, everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel itself could use some updating. The interior looked and felt dated, and the pillows went completely flat as soon as you tried to use them. Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. Several of the items looked dry and tasted like they had been sitting out...

”I was in town for a funeral so I only needed to stay for 2 nights. If you’re on a tight budget with low expectations, then this is the place for you. The hotel lobby AND my room had a one of those damp musty smells. The room did not have a full-length mirror. The bed was not comfortable. The tub looked stained and so was the chair (I took pictures). Breakfast was a typical complimentary breakfast, meh. The fitness room only had 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, and one lat-pulldown machine where you...

”The desk staff was great. There is some people that appear to be living there. The mattress was terrible. We left a day early because we had rather drive 4 hours home at night than try to sleep in the bed again.”

”Needs some maintenance but it is an old building. Area around outside balcony kind of ratty…no scenery at all. But was conveniently located and bed was very comfortable. Kitchen all good. Bathroom good. Had a lot of rain while there….several interior leaks. Advised staff….no response. Tornado warning nearby. Should be info to view on where to go for cover in event of tornado approaching. Beware to older folks: stairs extremely steep!!! Be careful!! ”

”The apartment was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the location and the privacy. The amenities were wonderful. My stay was great.”

”The room was clean and the stay overall was excellent. The only negative mark against the room is the lack of a window. That was shocking when checking in. Location is right in the middle of downtown, so there are shops and restaurants within feet of the entrance.”
